I called Hornady about their ammo showing pressure signs. The tech told me that there are known issues with a few DPMS rifles having too small groove diameter and causing pressure problems. I relayed the information to the friend of mine who has this rifle and when he contacted DPMS they were very interested in getting the problem solved for him.
