Doughnut

Has the "doughnut" influence on precision when the base of the bullet or pressure ring above the boat tail section remains above this ring after seating the bullet? I wish to avoid removing these doughnuts from +/- 1000 cases.

Tx

Ed, no problems if you stay above the doughnut. It is only when the bullet runs into the doughnut and changes neck tension, chamber clearance, etc. that there is something to be concerned about.

I think I'll stop at the bakery on the way to work today, somehow I'm developing a craving for doughnuts!

Tx German, you gave the answer I was hoping for and which I thought to be correct. I just needed the confirmation.

Good shooting
