Donut Removal Neck Sizing (not really)

So my dawg shootin partner gave me a Rem 700 in 6mm Remington.
"Time to put away that AR for a real shootin iron"
Ok fine.
Loaded some new brass for testing with 70 Blitz Kings and 87 VMax
I have some factory ammo brass from last fall put away. Time to size and prime to use hopefully soon.
Good friend number 2 gave me some Bonanza dies with best wishes as his recreational health has diminished.
After about 2 or 3 the expander ball squawked a bit so i adjusted it some. Size 10 or 12 more alls well.
Since adjustment helped im gonna do some more! Not broke so fix it right? Ok now which way did i turn that....
The wrong way.
Yup. Checked it twice too to make sure.
The jokes on me here. You all have a good laugh.
I just hope this is the worst thing to happen to anyone this weekend.
Thanks for all the valuable info on this site. Not much of a contribution from me but maybe get you to spill your beer. I lost the second specimen while making this post too. Must be bed time.

Compression stroke felt about the same on the rock crusher as the other ones. I was more surprised than anything by the result. Chuckled a bit, take a breath. Wow i didnt know you could do that!

Got a nice older 700V in 6mm...... bought a beautiful 6-18 "period" Redfield off this site for it. Anyway,they maybe close but,the 6mm is noticeably faster/better than any of my 243's......

You're going to really like the 6mmR once you get it tuned.Good luck with your project.

The expander ball is too shallow acting like reversing a brush inside the Bore, this has happened to me.
Number one loose the ball or set it for a full cycle

Been there, done the same with .243 cases!

Also why my wife is 4 rounds shy of a full box of ammo. I know that came out wrong.
But I crushed 1 sizing, 3 by having seater in to far.

Are you lubing the necks inside and outside?

I have a friend who had a similar issue neck-sizing because he was not using lube, he thought that since he was only neck-sizing no lube was needed.
