Oh man, I wish I had it half that bad...the union guy on TV telling us how they got it so bad, made $800,000 last year.

This is not true at all, Biden doesn't do anything because he's a died in the wool union supporter no matter what. He could send them back to work if he wanted to.This whole mess could have been avoided if the President stepped in. But he doesn`t give a crap because he was tossed. The sad part of this all is how quickly this will lead to major shortages due to the disaster in the many southern states. Poorly timed if this union wants any public support.
Joe being a dyed in the wool union supporter is how he comes off. You don`t live in or know anything about Delaware, so you can believe that bullshit if you want. But there is aways two sides to every story. I`ll leave it at that. I don`t need a midnight attitude adjuster. But he could pressure them into returning to work. We both agree I think? I blame congress just as much, they have the power to put a stop to this as well, but will they... nope. Those folks are only interested in bickering, collecting their pay for almost no work, and huge bennies.

So they can afford to pay the price for masters of their trade...their wife's will love paying 500.00 for their car to be serviced to be picked up in a week.yeah many years ago I thought about doing that but didn't want to live in any of those places. So they are making $208,000 per year and want more... don't we all. I haven't seen a raise in 7yrs and don't expect to get one either. So yeah with inflation I've been going backwards big time but I'm employed and make a good wage so it's not painful like for some folks. I'm pretty sure at $200k/yr they aren't feeling any pain but they have leverage.
Having used TP in other countries.....sandpaper in some cases would be better. It will be a sad day when we are down to importing that too....
Back in the 90's, I had a neighbor who was one of the aircraft controllers who lost his job when he was replaced. He ended up working as a grocery store manager, probably making half of what he did as a controller. He regretted his actions, I'm sure.I sure do, why can’t we have that America again.
My cousins husband was the same way. There used to be consequences for your adult actions .Back in the 90's, I had a neighbor who was one of the aircraft controllers who lost his job when he was replaced. The air traffic controllers were not just striking for higher wages. they wanted more vacation time and the biggie was no drug testing. Our union wanted us to donate to their strike fund and most of us said up yours. This was right after our union encouraged us to accept the drug testing as a job requirement. I have never forgotten the look on the National reps` face when we booed him out of the union hall.Back in the 90's, I had a neighbor who was one of the aircraft controllers who lost his job when he was replaced. Biden is a strong supporter as long as the money isn`t coming out of his pocket. Lots of contractors union and not were stiffed by Joe. I had one working at my house that told me some pretty amazing stuff. The adjuster mentioned is kinda like being swatted but one car and no guns drawn on you. Just some advice to remain silent. I`m out, most likely said too much already. JeffYep, he could if he wanted to.
I don't know what he feels or what he really thinks and I suppose that could be said for a lot of figures. I do however know I've seen him on TV and such more than a few times touting his support for union this or that. I may be ignorant but he certainly comes off like a solid union supporter.
Speaking of my ignorance, what's a "midnight attitude adjuster" ? never heard that term.
Yeah! Like back in1906!You know in the old days they used to keep a bucket of corn cobs in the outhouse. You could also use them to make charcoal for making blackpowder.
I guess what I'm saying is; keep corn cobs on hand and you'll be able to handle either task, albeit with a bit more residue.
Can't say I'm surprised. As for me, I've got really thick skin and I believe in folks right to speak their mind even if I don't agree with whatever they might be saying at the time. I've never been a union person, no use for them, but I do think there was a time when unions were needed. IMO that was well before I was born. I only worked one place that tried to go union, as in they tried to get us all to go their way. Everyone wanted better but without the union and in the end that's exactly what we got from the company. We had some leverage at the time and both sides gave ground, worked out well and no union meddling or dues. That said if I was in one of the union trades I might have felt different about unions. That's all water under the bridge for me as I'm planning to retire after this gig ends, although so far it's like the energizer bunny, just keeps going. I thought for sure we'd be done EOY the last three years and this one too, but the boss said he was asked to quote not just Q1/Q2 of 2025, but the entire year. I'm not about to complain if that results in a PO.Biden is a strong supporter as long as the money isn`t coming out of his pocket. Lots of contractors union and not were stiffed by Joe. Exactly!I've worked in 2 different union factories for a total of over 42 years. I've been though a strike (Hormel) . This is my take on unions...... if you're doing your job (properly) they do nothing for you, but if you're a sandbagger they'll do whatever it takes to keep your job.
I also believe that if the company you work for respects their employees there is no need for a union.
yep washing machines are junk anymore, my fridge is 25yrs old works perfect, I guess u just have to buy and modify these daysI don't think the new washing machines will clean the diapers. I had to buy one a couple of years ago and I'm not impressed with it. I call it the John Wayne model. It don't take chit off nothing.
Who’s next now?Holy mother of Moses! 62%! Honestly, I’d be happy with the 2%. Oh well, companies will just chalk it up to the cost of doing business and pass the savings on you and I.
Thanks Joe![]()
