1-12" twist, 26" Hart Barrel on my A/R.Thanks. AR or bolt? Barrel length?
Back when I built my first .20 Practical - I had to have a gunsmith chamber a barrel for my A/R as there was only one guy making them ready to go and I wanted something different. I chose the Hart barrel. Since then, I have purchased a few more from Hart which were already chambered. Seems they got enough interest in them to chamber them.Thanks. AR or bolt? Barrel length?
Thanks.Just a suggestion in case you were not aware...
If you are not looking to get into the middle of the design details, but just want a 20P AR bbl from a guy who knows what he is doing and uses them himself, here is an option for mag length ammo. Several of these have been consumed by my friends and I and were all typically 0.5 MOA (for 10 shot rapid groups) using 40 VMax and 39 Sierras.

If you want BR level and custom control over all the dimensions, your reamer is a deeper study than the bbl maker, although Hart is one of the best. If you want a bbl done by a guy who is known for consistently cranking out very accurate AR platforms, Johns bbl is worth a look.

Keep in mind I was specifically addressing an AR platform drop in varmint bbl, not a bolt gun bbl, with that pointer.Thanks.
I already had a CZ527 re-barreled using a Lilja 11 twist, had issues and hence started this thread. If this barrel does not shoot, I will then look at option 2.
Right. It will be great to add a 20p upper to my DPMS. I just do not know how.Keep in mind I was specifically addressing an AR platform drop in varmint bbl, not a bolt gun bbl, with that pointer.
WOA is well known for complete uppers, not just their bbls. You could have the whole thing put together by an expert, throw it on your favorite lower and go terrorize the colony rodents....Right. It will be great to add a 20p upper to my DPMS. I just do not know how.

Personally it looks fairly normal to me. I see those marks on many of the top barrel companies barrels I've owned and they all out shoot me.I am not an expert on what custom barrel finishes should look like. So I need your help.
I have attached the pics of a super clean bore - only 8 rounds. I have two other custom barrels - one from Lilja and one from Pac-Nor. Both 6mm, 8 twist. Never seen these types of machining marks perpendicular to the bore line on custom or factory (TC, Ruger, Howa, Kimber, ...) factory rifles.
The marks are all on one of the three grooves.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
