can't even test the subject without a means to measure bullet grip, and you have no way to do that right now
Mikerc, you told You he could not because he did not have a means, then you explained to You there was no way to do that right now.
I said I have tension gages and I have gages to measure interference/crush fit. I can also measure the effort required to press interference/crush fit, problem, I do not have a gage that measures in tensions, I do not have a conversion for tensions to inches or pounds. I have a strain gage. Problem, the strain gage converts distance to pounds. I have a deviation gage, same thing, it requires xx pounds to cause the deviation gage to deviate, the deviation gage is callipered in distance and pounds.
Are you measuring actual bullet grip, or seating force?
I do not tap dance around tension and grip, I do not have a grip gage, add to that I do not have a tension gage.
So Mikecr tell me what you want me to 'actually measure'.
