I looked into that a few years ago. The discount was only available direct from Vortex and it was about 40% off listed msrp. Sounds good, but online prices are marked down significantly from msrp. The actual street price from retailers is about the same price as the discount price especially on sale or with a code at opticsplanet etc, with free shipping, so what's the point of going thru Vortex? It's mostly a fake discount. The LE sounds good but it's not really much of a discount at all, if any.

Leupold has a generous discount too, direct from Leupold, but most of the scopes are always out of stock, especially the popular scopes, you could be on the "notify me" wait list for years like me, it's always more than several months, sometimes items never show in stock. Meanwhile all those scopes are in stock all over the internet. It's a fake discount opportunity. I've tried to purchase several times thru their program and have never succeeded, I just give up and buy elsewhere online.

Vortex discount might be a little better, but it's not 40%, in reality it might be 5-10% tops compared to decent online prices. And I heard Vortex sometimes takes forever to ship.

I can't say the amount I paid because that is part of the Mil/LE agreement but, I can say I paid substantially less than I could have gotten it through Europtic, or anywhere else, and I had it in about 7-10 days. I have found that USUALLY, Europtic is best price or close to it on Athlon though.

If you are former military or LE, I will let you know how to access the Vortex prices. There is a quick easy way to do it but, you will have to provide documentation to them to get the prices.

I will clarify just a bit more, you can get Vortex cheaper on Ebay but, unless they say they are a vortex dealer, you are never quite sure who you are ordering from.

Not always direct from Vortex. I and my old shooting partner were given the Mil/LE discount right at the counter when buying our Vortex scopes at Sportsman Warehouse.

EuroOptics runs their Mil/LE/First Responder sale in conjunction with Vortex during the Memorial Day Holiday. I got my Razor GIII 6-36 during that sale. ~$1,800 delivered. That was a pretty good deal, however you figure the 40% off. Yes I know prices have risen.

Not always direct from Vortex. I and my old shooting partner were given the Mil/LE discount right at the counter when buying our Vortex scopes at Sportsman Warehouse.

The discount at Sportsman's is 5% which will pick up the sales tax in most states.

Eurooptic has the VT15 discount code, and they also have some nice demo/trade ins listed.
Not that it is a big deal, but eurooptic also takes paypal if you have some fun money in that account.
I live a couple counties over, and if I order in AM, it is usually at my house the next day, and usually free shipping. Cool place for a road trip, but pretty convenient ordering online.
