Does anyone make a magnification extender for scopes?

I own several scopes of varying power, however I would like to increase the magnification without purchasing another scope. Does anyone make a supplemental lens to be placed in front of the scope in order to extend the magnification? In other words, if I had a variable scope from 4 - 16 power, a 2x magnifier would now yield 8 - 32 power. I know for cameras they make them, what about scopes. Seems like a relatively inexpensive way to extend the range of my scopes.

Thanks for all your help....

Someone here should be able to chime in on the quality/useability of these.

I have one of these type of lenses (Bought from a fellow shooter, so I can't verify the manufacturer). It is used on a Weaver T-36 scope for shortrange Benchrest. What I have observed: At 100 yards I notice no discernable difference. At 200 or 300 yards it offers some increased clarity on the target, no real difference that I can tell as to increasing the power of the scope. I use it on one gun, but haven't felt it worthwhile to get another one.

Mugsie -

Howdy !

Speaking for my own self, I'll say this:

I shoot a 36X Weaver, w/ a 2X Gene Davis optical booster installed. I had no paralax or focus problems that MY eyes could discern.
Other shooters report vision as being adversly affected when using optical boosters.

For those shooters where the boosters DO work, they can be a sort of poor man's " Nightforce "; being a lower-buck method of getting into higher magnification ranges.

Tanks guys - I'll check out the BullzeyePro. It looks like what I've been looking for - a relatively cheap way to increase my magnification.

Don't just jump in and buy one, that's where all the "doesn't work for me" come from, not everyones eyes will work with their boosters. I talked with Bill repeatedly about which scope I was using and what expected from the product, alll that time was worth it as they work.

Quite a few people get improved results with the BulzEyePro products but do not expect it to do everything stated on their website. The marketing department got way out of hand when they wrote up the verbage for that site.
