Does anyone have a .22lr match rifle w/ aperture sights and scope mount?

If your rifle has a 11mm grove atop the receiver you can find 1" or 30 mm scope rings all over the place. If you need front and rear appature sights for a 11mm grove I would be willing to sell the ones I took off my Walther KKM.. PM me if interested. There are ways to add a forend stop to other stocks and front rest bag riders as well.

Screw-fit handstops were the norm for a few decades. However I think it's telling that every successful smallbore rifle made, or designed, in the last 60 years has a rail. The rail allows the shooter unlimited freedom in establishing a position that works. Anything else would be a compromise.

Tim, I agree. Having shot both, in small bore and high power, different positions, ranges, firing points, and just plain whims dictate small changes in hand stop and sling geometry often just a matter of fractions of an inch. There are rails you can buy and have a stock routed to inlay them, as I am sure you know.
