^^^ ThisI check .........every.........friggin'...........round. Every one.
Every since I read a post in the old Varminthunter mag ( by Steve Timm I think ? ) regarding runout - showing once it creeps up past .003" it shows as flyers I have checked and adjusted the runout.
Takes a little bit of time for 2000+ prairie dog rounds.
But from the input from the above previous posts, I guess it's just for my peace of mind.
I check every freaking round when I am using them for Match or Accuracy Test loads
Anything over about .003" runout I separate out as Fouler rounds
When I see my loads are within .001" almost every round, this is also a very GOOD INDICATOR
of consistent neck tension
if your neck tension if off one round from the next, it will show up in your runout.

Some people tend to think neck tension is important
why would runout not be if this is so?

I def dont check when loading for .223 or used range brass though
