does annealing alter bullet seating resistence/feel

I anneal every 2nd firing, only shoot moly bullets.
The consistency can be felt with my arbor press and hand dies.

Me three. Anneal with AMP Aztec, one pass with RCBS case neck brush, and I achieve consistent seating on my hydro seater. I have also found that using the correct size expander button vs just a bushing helps with seating consistency as well.

Ditto on the AMP with Aztec. I have found that using a non-bushing full length sizer with the appropriate expander ball sets neck tension consistently. I have also found that these dies produce the straightest brass.

Variations in neck tension/seating tension can be caused by differences in neck thickness, hence neck turning. After steel-pin tumbling, annealing, neck-sizing using graphite, bullets seat quite easily and consistently.

I anneal after every firing , lube & size , wash cases , deburr & chamfer , Expand , prime and load . Dip base in Dri-lube and seat . I seat with a small RCBS Partners press , and yes .....I can feel any discrepancy's in seating force using that light weight press . And I don't get to many . They become sighters ...:D
