Do RemAge barrels work with any custom actions?

I can't find any references to using the RemAge barrels and barrel nut systems with any custom actions, in particular the Barnard P or PC actions. I've spoken with CBI and hope to get more information tomorrow from a barrel maker. In the interest of saving time, I do know you can have multiple barrels chambered for any given specific action once the specs are known.

If the action thread pitch is the same as a Remington, you should be GTG. Not sure if CBI does custom thread pitches for RemAge's.

Yes there are quite a few custom actions that have the same tenon thread as a Rem 700. 1-1/16 16tpi

Just letting you know that I just fit a McGowan REMAGE barrel and nut system to a Defiance action with no issues. Hope that helps...

I'm a little unclear on the precise Remington 700 action thread specifications. I know the Barnard P is UNF 1 1/16" forgot to ask them the class thread (e.g. Borden's are class 3A according to him). This may not be a major issue save for tightness of fit, but with 60k PSI I'd like to know.

You can safely put 500' # of torque on a 1" bolt with oiled surface . That is on a class 1 thread . Larry
