The only problem I have had with the thinner .011" neck walls that Lapua has begun producing was when I formed 30BR cases and was lacking one bushing size smaller to get a .004" tension.
I guess I did this all backward because I use Norma brass for my 6BR and Lapua for my 30BR and 22BR rounds. I have not used Norma before the past season, but I did buy 200 cases. I used the Lapua for the other cartridges as they were new to me and I hated to waste $1.00 ea or more brass on a new project, if and when I made mistakes.......I don't have any unfired Norma brass at the moment but I can recall that virtually every case had a neck wall thickness of .012" out of the box. Apparently they have better dies or alloy or something if they can get it so consistent at that thickness--possibly this explains the higher price.
