Do fluorescent lights affect digital scales?

I have changed all of mine to new LED 4' fixtures from Costco.
They are fantastic!
I've switched everything in our house over to LED lights, both, tube and bulb. I even have a couple of those corn cob LED's screwed in to the basement lights, depending on which one/s you get, those things put out some serious amounts of light.

I hate soft or yellow lights so everything we have is cool white. I think maybe one of the corn cob LED's in the basement is a "daylight" bulb but I can't tell a great deal of difference between the two. I just know I love how much brighter they are. The don't really get hot like a regular bulb and they last forever. I've been using LED bulbs for well over five years now, inside the house and in our outside lights too and I've only ever had to replace one bulb.

I haven't switched my shop over to LED's yet but as soon as a couple of the flor. tubes burnout I'll be replacing the lighting system in shop with LED's too. It's crazy how much more light they produce and they're supposed to be using considerably less juice as well so it's a win win.

I have a digital scale I use on occasion, while set on grains I get drift however when I switch to grams I get none. Lighting or cell phone have no effect.

I found that temperature will have a big effect on some scales drifting. I have one scale based on a "123" module. Tree, A&D, Denver and a few others used this module all having "123" in the model name. Anyway it's great little scale above 65 F , every bit as steady and repeatable as my A&D 120 but below 65 and it drifts terribly. My old reloading room would drop down to about 60 on cold winter days. My RCBS and $20 battery scale were fine, the Tree 123 was unusable. Now that I am in a heated/cooled reloading room it works perfectly.

How is this done? What equipment is needed, and what kind of battery? Amazon link?

Do any of you leave your digital scales turned on all the time? I have multiple and leave them turned on all the time, I never turn them off. For me, leaving them turned on all the time has helped as much as anything.

No, I switch them off, with a power strip, when not in use. I don't want to worry about things like lightening storms and line fluctuations that happen at all hours of the day. I do warm it up before use, 20-30 minutes.

I'm dropping charges for 1-2 hours per week. Leaving it on for 168 hours per week seems excessive.

Air from a fan in the room or my hand going in and coming out of the shielded area along with my sighs of woeo_O make it move ..
Sartorius Entris 64-1S
Stays in standby, connected to a surge protector.

My 1960's florescent lamp, nor cell phone, nor tv remote bothers it.

I keep my two Bald Eagles on 24/7.
If lightning strikes them, I see a FX-120 in my future.

As I inch my way towards better accuracy - I just ordered the battery & connecting wire. Thanks for the links.

Always on and ready to go. I use a Tripp-Lite Isobar power strip that is surge suppressed and filtered. My VIC-123 was unstable when the furnace blower was running, but the Isobar cleaned that up. I always use the Isobar with my FX-120i because it's too expensive to take chances with - it's never been run on unfiltered power.

Lightning will jump right through a power switch. If that's a serious concern, you need to unplug the scale.
