I don't post too many of my videos here but I know this topic goes around a lot and I thought people would be interested to see it. To keep it simple I was focused on the results in this video and not so much on the mechanics of why.

Here's what Carl Matthews @glockaholic (the guy who makes the Mirage Buster) says:

If you are interested in purchasing a Mirage Buster, please verify you have space between the barrel and centerline of the scope. See http://www.mprime.com/MirageBuster/MB1.htm. Next please get on my waiting list by emailing vise27@gmail.com.
Pretty cool. Especially the variable portion of it. I shoot with my March modifier disc on almost always. I don’t feel I’m giving up anything by having it on.

"I can't see my target". Aren't we worrying about the front sight?

I can 100% say that in service rifle, yes they do . Completely eliminated my zero shift from offhand to sitting to prone. Also noticed my prone score improved. I attribute it completely to making my cheek/ head position more consistent

To clarify, it looked different, not really better.
No sure what you were looking at because the before and after use in the video is extremely dramatic. I’d welcome that level of improvement on any tough day shooting at 1000 yards.
