Dissapointed RX-IV owner

Bought into the Leupold Rx-IV hype I guess you might say. Thinking this would be the worlds coolest rangefinder, boy I was wrong. I have had It almost a year now, and wished I just had bought a Lieca. First dissapointment was opening the package to find out its Chineese built, what happend with Leupolds "made right here"? All the modes this rangefinder has its easy for a fella to get confused, you might as well take your owners manual with you. I have been so frustrated with this. But even more frustrating, I bought this thinking it was a long range-rangefinder. I have trouble on non-reflective targets past 400 yards and lucky to get a 700-800 reflective reading. Its reading time is slow compared to the Lieca. I wanted to voice my opinion to Leupold so I emailed them, the email they gave me didnt work and this is what they said. "If you would like to commend on the RX please feel free to contact Vici Peters at vpeters@leupold.com." Commend?????? THE Nerve!

Yeah, I flushed almost $500. Live and learn. When I go varmint hunting with my buddy Bill, We use the Leica. The VX-IV stays in the truck.

SWFA takes trade ins or gives cash, for used optics I thought I'd give them a shot. They said they could only give me $275, shows you what they really should be priced.

When I first heard about these I was excited . I wanted some thing that could measure angles. As soon as they came out to the public I started seening the complaints all over the net.
I am glad that I waited, i alsso see the same thing saying Swaro or Lica .
