DIP did me Right!!!

I had a bad DIP aluminum magwell on my 457 MTR. Contacted DIP and was treated well.

The DIP folk checked their stock and found there are issues and are addressing them.

Meantime they Fed Exing me a corrected magwell as I planned to use in a competition Saturday.

This is the correct way to address issues. I applaud them for the correct approach!

And we all should never forget to praise companies that do things right.

Always nice to hear something positive about a company for a change. I had a similar situation with a scope base for my Tikka from Mountain Tactical. They got a bad batch of anodizing. They made it right, no questions asked. How you treat customers, when there is a problem, is what is remembered. Good on DIP!

DIP takes good care of lefties also, stock and extended left hand ejector for CZ457.
Jard is another good company for CZ457,left hand CZ457 triggers, they updated my Gen 1 rh trigger I modded for LH for no money, they listen to customers....I have one of the first LH trggers.

Would not the correct way to handle this be to have quality control check the pieces before they left the factory and then you would not have to deal with install , removal, call and beg for what you paid for in the beginning, wait at least a week and a half, then reinstall. This is the bare minimum to expect from a vendor. A quality part at a fair price that works the first time, why would you deserve anything less?

Stuff happens no matter how careful you may be. And, while it is a bit inconvenient when you have to remediate a problem, a company that stands behind the products they sell still gets my business and two thumbs up.
By the way, I saw no reference to having to beg DIP for the replacement in the OP.
