Dinning room deer!

Sitting at the dinner table with my wife and kids, and my wife looks out the big bay window and says "bone!" I got up ran to the pickup, grabbed the rifle laid down in the yard. With a gimme broadside 300 yard shot. Folded him! Love how things come together like this!;)

Gotta love that! Nice buck.

Nice job Caleb! That is more antler mass than all my deer ground up and put together! But then I am in charge of shooting all the dinky ones to keep the gene pool strong!

Hopeful for opener tomorrow...almost hit an 8 point with the van aboout 200 yards from my daughters stand. Hope he gets flushed out of the corn and slinks into her area....

I will be supervising from the second story window on the 308 and tripod...no need to get all cold and stuff now that I am old. She is only 100 yards away and in view on raidio.

7mm of some stripe? Maybe a 28 Nosler?

Nope just a good ol down home 7mm magnum! This was the first rifle I ever built.
Remington 700 action. (PPR fluted, and big horn Knob) trued by me.
28" Krieger 1-9 heavy Palma
One of 40xb's brakes
McMillan A-5
Jewell HVRT
nightforce NSX 5.5-25-56 MOART

Was just wondering. I use the 168VLDHs in a 28 Nosler. Enormous knock out power way out there.
