Dima rear Bag for Kestros ZR?

Im looking for owners of Kestros ZR stocks to weigh in on your rear bag of choice for this profile.

I mistaking purchased an Edgewood with 3/8" ear spacing and the 5/8" stock doesn't seem to be doing well. This is an F-Open rifle chambered in 7FCP. Recoil is enough that she's dancing in the bag...just a lil bit. I know there are varying opinions on riding the stitches but I feel 5/8 stock should equal 5/8 bag.

Given most better quality bags do not offer 5/8" spacing, it looks like I'm in for some lead time to order. I'm thinking the Medium Dima with Teflon will fit the bill. It appears the ears protrude in towards the stock a bit. Perhaps that will aide torque and keep the rearward motion more linear.

If your running this stock I'd really like to hear what rear bag you found that tracks well.

Just call Edgewood- they may have one ready. I’ve actually got one a few years old that is branded for the Kestros from Edgewood. It’s 5/8” and fits perfect.

I use a Protector Tractor rear bag with 0.7 in ear spacing and mid length slick silver ears. It’s filled with heavy sand in the body and fine sand in the ears. I use it with an Edgewood dead bottom, behind a Rodzilla T - Rex with either the felt top blocks or the new T3 sandbag top blocks. My primary gun uses a Kestros Z-rail stock my backup gun 8a plain Kestros. With both stocks I use PTFE coated adhesive backed fiberglass sheet on the parts of the stock that contact the front rest and rear bag. The PTFE sheet is available from McMaster Carr product # 5739T11 0.003 thick or #5739T31 0.006 thick. This is a deadly combination. Today while testing my tuner I was able to shoot two 5 shot 3.1 in groups at 800 yards In breezy conditions with my Kestros ZR chambered in 7-6.5PRCW. It’s a very reasonably priced rear bag that you might even be able to find in stock and if a half blind dummy like me can shoot well with it then just about any serious shooter should be able to.
