Dillon XL 750 9mm reloading question

Hello Everyone, Thank you for any and all help here. So I have a Dillon 750 I have started my first 9 mm load. The issue I’m having is when I send the brass threw the sizing die ,I pull it out to check it and it checks out correctly as soon as I run it through the powder die and the bullet seeding and the crimp none of my bullets fit into the case gauge any thoughts?

Details matter and they help narrow the focus.

Can you say roughly where the hang up is? Bullet length, case diameter at the neck?

For example, does that case also fail the "plunk test" in your bbl at a particular place?

How far into the case gage are you getting? Have you tried to take something like a magic marker and ink up the outside of the brass to see where it gets scuffed up? Is it the bullet seating depth type of gage or does that even come into play yet? If it is the diameter around the mouth, have you measured it with a caliper?

Which brand of seating and crimp die are you using?
What bullet?

The two biggest causes are usually bullet seated too long, hitting the rifling , and over crimping case neck causing it to expand just behind the crimp. You don't really need the crimp on a 9mm. Try seating the bullet a little deeper and see if it helps. Or try it in your barrel. All my ammo gets shot out of a barrel, not a guage.

I use my barrel as the case gauge. Check to see where there is contact. The 2 Things that I have seen cause the most issue is bullet seating to long and not crimping enough. Also, check your flare you want just enough to make seating possible with out damaging the bullet.

Take your calipers and measure the case with a bullet seated and adjust your crimp to the loading manuals spec.

Bullet diameter should be no bigger the .356" What bullet? The 147 grs seat deeper, may cause problens with some thick walled brass.
