Dillon 550 with case feeder issues?

Has anyone had a problem with loaded rounds ejecting from a 550 with a Dillon case feeder? The height of the ejection chute is higher on this set up than my other 550s. I do use strong mounts on all of the 550s.
Also when loading 9mm the shell sometimes does not stay in alignment with decapper die. On the regular 550 there is a flat spring that holds shell in place. I have contacted Dillon, but no solution yet.

The casefeeder on the RL550 was an after thought by Dillon. I had one on my 550 and got rid of it. The thing is problematic. The 650 and 750 were designed around the casefeeder. I have two 750's and they work great. I had also contacted Dillon over my case feeder issues and did not get the answers to my issues. It has been so long ago that I forgot exactly what they were, but reading your post brought back memories. I know that I haven't helped any, but am just letting you know you are not alone.

I am a Dillon fanboy. But...

The 550 casefeeder has always been a let down. I never bought one, but everyone I know that has one isnt happy with it. It needs constant tweaking.

FYI
I've been in contact with Dillon tech support. They offered no help. Suggested move the ejection chute around or bend it. not what I wanted to hear

Compare the height of the strong mount on your various 550s. They, as well as the chute bracket should be the same. Compare the bend on the chute next, see if they are all bent to the same angle.
On the case alignment issue, move the black cam a tiny amount away from the case feed plunger. Just a few thousandths should do. The plunger was applying too much pressure on the case pushing it into the shellplate,
so as the plunger backs away from the case the case wants to bounce out a bit.
