Dilemma -- Which Benchrest Comp Rifle to Keep

Unless you need the money, I'd keep both.
Just concentrate on the one winning rifle this coming year.
You'll have a backup if needed.
You'll regret selling it.
If it wasn't a shooter then I'd sell it.

Keep the 2 lug if it makes LV weight. With a good barrel, a good lot of bullets, and a good tune, you could win any UBR class. Plus, shoot some NBRSA or IBS Group Matches.

Keep the winner, it has 2 barrels. Personally, I couldn’t or wouldn’t give up either one unless I really needed the money. Oh, get a 6 bra barrel for the speedy and play with it for 600/1000 yd

FWIW- I would NEVER sell a proven rifle built on a Scarbrough stock. You never know what it might take to replace it, if even possible, down the road.

Exactly, so if I shot IBS or NBRSA I guess it would be unlimited? in a 13.5 pound class? Where near Central KY are any of these ranges located?

One thing to remember that gun standing in your gun safe don't cost you anything . but to buy another gun will cost you a LOT !!!

I do like a nice looking piece but barrels and bullets make the difference. If I have those and a good lot of powder I can make a run, so whichever rifle has that is the one I’m campaigning.

alternative solution to your dilemma. For the next shooting season to compare both rifles in an equal setting, I will shoot the rifle that you choose not to shoot. You will control all the variables, (rifle, ammo, rest and set-up, etc) except for the actual firing and we can be on the same bench or same relay which ever is best for the test. I will execute the firing process and you will be able to analyze all the results and then the following year decide which rifle you should go with.
The only down side is I will not be able to shoot all the matches.
Ultimately you keep both rifles.

Just a thought.
