Digital micrometer

I have exhausted my minimal computer skills. I'm looking for a digital micrometer that has a tapered spindle. Hard to measure short neck cases with 'regular' spindle.

Almost. I have one of those. I'm looking for a tapered spindle.

Try Bruno's Shooting Supplies. They sell a Mitutoyo tubing micrometer with spindle modified with taper.

You are going to love it! You are also going to see a lot of variation in neck thickness.

I have the same Mitutoyo without the taper modification. Didn't know about that being available. Limits me from measuring closer to the shoulder.

That's why I wanted the tapered spindle. Couldn't measure my 20-223 cases. It should be here TODAY!!!!

Until recently the Mitutoyo was not available with a tapered stem. I had my gunsmith taper my flat stem, made it easy to measure .223 family necks.
