Different Reamer? Lapua .284 vs Necked up 6.5 - .284

Ignoring neck thickness and free bore, would one order a different reamer for straight .284 vs necked up 6.5 284? I can’t imagine any difference?
Thanks for any insight.

Since you're ordering the reamer, why "ignore neck thickness"?
Neck up a case, load the boolit of your choice, measure OD of the neck.
I believe the necked-up dimension is to use a .317/.318 neck.

IIRC, standard is .322, you'd want a smaller neck dimension because your necks are going thin out when stretched.

JMO- haven't done this one before.

Thanks for the reply. I need to better phrase the question: I am looking for any differences that might need to be factored into the reamer order. I have seen where people have ordered reamers specifically for Lapua brass necked up from 6.5 to 7mm. I am assuming there is no difference in case body between straight Lapua .284 brass and Lapua 6.5-.284 brass necked up to 7mm.
I am going to simplify by simply ordering a reamer for Lapua .284 brass, .320 neck and .220 freebore/leade

Let's back up...
I thought you were referring to Lapua brass, in .284 Winchester.

Never heard of a ".284 Lapua", so please enlighten me?

In my latest 284 reamer, I used my old specs and just opened up the neck to 0.3205". I didn't do any detailed brass measurements since I didn't have the brass when ordering the reamer. It shoots perfectly with the new straight 284 brass from Lapua. Just be sure not to make the B-line too small.

Thank you! Just the info I was looking for! Can I ask what the neck thickness is on your straight .284 brass is? Curious about how much clearance your are getting with a .3205 neck? Appreciate any info.

My loaded diameter is 0.316 on the money with the new Lapua brass with the necks untouched. The clearance is on the minimal side IMO for the 284 but it shoots well with no flyers. I'll probably go 0.321 on my next reamer.
