Dies for 20 Vartarg

What dies do i need to form Lapua 221 Fireball brass to 20 Vartarg? Ive read threads on here some people say this some say that. Then some go off on a tangent and mention 223 brass and i loose track.
From what I've gathered i need a 20 VT bushing full length die, or a 20 VT body die i think or a 221 fireball body die, not sure which one, to trim the long neck ill get from the full length die, i'll be using a Wilson seater die.

Thanks

What is the neck diameter of your 20VT chamber and will you need or want to turn the necks? I ask because a full length bushing die will not size the lower approx .030" of the neck(i.e. the thickness of the shelf where the bushing sits).

PS: If you are going to have a no-turn 20VT chamber, I would recommend a Redding 20VT full length bushing die and a Wilson seater. When necking down and forming 20VT from 221FB one needs to bump the FB shoulder back do to differences in shoulder angles(30*VT versus 21*FB).

Thanks for the reply JohnHenry. IM not sure about the neck diameter yet. Turning necks is no issue i have the gear for that. I spoke to the gunsmith yesterday but forgot to ask about that. At the moment I'm just getting a list of the things i need when i get the gun done.

You might wanna check out whiddens dies there a few bucks more when buying bushing dies and then you can get a bushing for whatever neck dia. you have but are far superior than redding I have both and will go with whidden any day.

I use a Redding 20VT body die followed with a Redding 20VT FL bushing die. If your chamber neck is less than .232 you will need to turn your brass down to .012.

I bought a set of FL dies from Hornady. Running the .221 FB brass thru the FL die worked out just fine. Also using the Hornady seater and 5 shot groups average in the 2's with the 32 V-Max. Cheap way to go, but works.

When I had mine done I bought the Redding F/L and Neck sizing bushing dies. The gunsmith used that portion of the barrel that is discarded anyway and made me a case gage for it with the reamer he used, so I already knew. Essentially all I did was run it through the neck bushing die and then I fire formed it.
