Die Storage

I tried a search but could not find the answere I am looking for. On Redding Comp or Type S dies, after adjusting what does everyone store them in as they will not fit back into the original case?

Sorry if this is a repeat question

MTM makes a case app. the size of their 100 rd. box. I don't know if the inside height would accomodate the tall comp. dies or not. Sinclair Intl 800 717-8211 carries the box I am refering to. It is item # 08-4 on page 65 in their 07 catalog.

Sounds like you must be using a Forster Co-Ax press--I've got the same problem. I like the Hornady die boxes best. Which reminds me, I need to order a few more of 'em.

According to Sinclair, the MTM box will not accommodate the tall dies. The Forster box box holds three of their large dies. Are the Hornady boxes bigger?

I work in the oilfield. I use drill bit jet plastic packaging tubes. They come in various sizes and lengths.

The blue one lower right corner. They work really well for my Redding Comp die for my 338 Lapua. These cases fit pretty well for me.

One time I came across some of these cases that fit 2 SS Wilson dies in it perfectly.

I'm surprised that a vendor doesn't carry these. They are the cat's meow for Wilson dies.

They're just a shell with support points for the dies so there's a lot of room in them. They also stack better than any of the other boxes I have,Forster and Redding).

Had the same problem. Went to Lowes, bought a metal frame about 10" high, 16" long and 9" deep with 12 plastic slide out trays. It sits on the back of my loading bench, easy to reach and holds all my Redding comp dies, and more. Home Depot does not carry it. Forget how much it cost.

Personally I use an RCBS A-2 press with my Redding dies. You're right! The Hornady Large Die Box,Hornady number 544600) does work for the Redding Bench Rest dies. My longest is for the .25-06 and there's plenty of room. Unfortunately, Midway seems to think that Hornady has discontinued them and the Hornady site is not available currently.
