DIE HELP? Identify

I received a DIE with another set of dies. It's handwritten and it runs together HAG300-270Short-Form, Shoulder measures .451" Near 2.014" High Shoulder & Base measures just inside the Die opening .500". We are reading it as: "300-270 Short-Form HAG" What is this thing?

A forming die for some wildcat. The HAG could be the mans initials or short for his last name

I'm thinking it's some form of Short H&H Magnum in 30 Caliber, oh I did not mention the Shoulder is close to 30 Degrees or more. I don't know how to measure that exactly. I'm guessing it's very very old.

Run a 300 win mag case into it and then you’ll know. There are so many short 270-300 mags out there. Get a copy of P.O. Acleys handbook. Almost any magnum case on a 270 bore is overbore...

Hey Thanks for the Advice. I do need to get some Ackley Books. I ran a 7-RM Case through it, that's how I got the Shoulder width. It's not anything I will ever use, I just wanted to know what it was. I guess it's just part of my Collection.

Honestly, the term overbore barely applies to anything smaller than the 50BMG.
The powders available today are slow enough to negate any overbore condition. I cannot stuff enough RE33 into my 264WM, 270 Weatherby, 300WM, 338 Edge or 338-416 Rigby Improved to get excessive pressure, so overbore is non existant.

To the OP, all I can tell you is it is a ‘forming’ die, has a 30 cal neck and may be a 30 cal 270 Weatherby type case length.
