Re: Did someone forget there gun?

Well...why did he shoot with over 7 min left in a different condition than the first shooter??? Why not wait it out a little and see if that condition comes back?? He was watching shooter #1 and must have noticed the flags and daisy wheels. Not that there was major conditions happening, but he definatly shot in a different condition...with no sighters. I wonder how he did?

Anyone???

I agree....the overall conditions looked AWESOME!!!! Only time I ever saw conditions like that was at the very first Harris, MN 600 yard shoot.
But again....he did shoot in a different condition. And, he did have 7 min left. I realize that it was only a 2-3 mph difference, but as calm as the day was I would bet that the near dead calm that shooter # 1 saw would have come back. I guess what I am saying is that he already waited 3+ min..why not wait a little longer?

Just my .02.

Again..anyone know how he did?

Here is what the caption stated:
"When 2 shooters use the same rests, then get squadded in the same relay, this is what happens...the rifle weighs over 100lbs and is chambered in a 6mm Dasher. Shooters Mark King and Chip Wagner"

Check July 24, 2012 for Results

Appears to me he wasn't concerned about the condition....... just rifleman'ed them down !.!.!

Yep...they both were FAST!!! Not to concerned about sight adjustments. I have never been able to get anything to track like that. And, even if I did, I wouldn't trust it. I'm way to anal. Especialy when it was that calm. No need to run em.

But then again...like the PGA golf commercial on TV......"THESE GUYS ARE GOOD"!!!!! And....silly fast!!

I shoot one of those hammerhead stocks and im pretty sure I don't need to look but I don't have big enough huevos to not do it.

I didn't see that. I mean - how can that be done and expect to hit anything?

My input would be: it was a conditions favorable day, and the gun was sighted on target and shot for record by the first guy, then swapped to the second guy and shot a few minutes later. Even if the conditions moved enough to fumble the score, he would still have "group" to shoot for.

Since they were sharing a gun and drew the same Relay, they didn't have much choice... and obviously they made it work !.!.!
