Did I ruin my barrel?

I had a brain fart last night and left some Gunslick foaming bore cleaner in one of my guns. I realized it this morning and promptly cleaned it out. It's a stainless barrel and the stuff was left in for about 9 hours. I noticed on the labeling that there is no ammonia in it which makes me feel better. Did I screw up the barrel?

Thanks.

if it was CM you might have been in trouble, but since its SS you should be fine. If your truly worried about it you could find a smith near by and have him borescope it for you.

I would say it is fine. The only test is to go out and shoot it. I have seen barrels that looked bad shoot like a house of fire. My thoughts are you could have left that solvent in for a week, and it would not hurt a thing.

I leave Wipe-Out in all my SS barrels overnight after a hard days use in the dog towns. I've seen no decrease in accuracy and the barrels still look good, they sure cleans up much easier with just patches the next morning.

I dont have or use Gunslick but I have left about every other type of stuff in my bbls at some point or another and have never noticed anything negative....including Sweets 7.62.

Thanks for the replies. I called Gunslick and they said it's fine too. I just had this barrel installed so I got quite anxious when I realized what I had done. Going to go shoot it today again so I guess I will find out for sure.
