Thanks for posting! I think that's the question of the OP - whether the 131BJ is BR quality enough for 1K BR.
That, I cannot confirm - being a 25 Cal. fanatic, I have been hopeful, that enough people would test the waters, to create some opportunity.

My primary concern regarding the BJ project, is the nearly insane bullet lengths (but, this is common over all calibers), thus extremely fast twist-rate requirements. I believe that we've reached the point of diminishing returns: precision is being sacrificed at the alter of ballistic co-efficient.


The .25 Cal. doesn't/didn't need such a radical initiation into competitive shooting - it simply needs a following of dedicated, competent competitors, using well balanced cartridges and precision rifles. There are bullets of BR quality - they're just not everywhere, which is what BJ was/is attempting to establish - competitive precision - that's what they have to prove! My hat is off to them.
