Many of you know Dexter and Amelia Bumgarner, Dexter is 77 years young. He is a tough competitor. He was very active in rimfire benchrest for years and currently shoots as many UBR matches as he can usually two or three a month Dexter and Amelia need the shooting communities help. We found a place for them to rent and moved some basic things in today

still a long way to go FEMA says 7 weeks to 7 years for any assistance

Update
I saw Dexter and Amelia today
Amelia was released from the hospital yesterday and is feeling a little better

They both wanted me to let everyone know how humbled and thankful they are to everyone for the support, well wishes and prayers
the shooting community has really stepped up to help them and that’s awesome to see

Many thanks to everyone who came and shot at Kettlefoot today...!!!

We were able to collect $1800.00 for Dexter and Amelia.

Its wonderful to see the support for this great couple. They are both special people who have touched many lives.

Tim Singleton is going to help get the funds to Dexter and Amelia as soon as possible. Tim deserves much praise for everything he is doing to help them both.

Good morning, Everyone
We made it back from Orangeburg SC and back to work.

So, I wanted to give an update on Dexter and Amelia Bumgarner
They are doing ok with all that has happened. The Baptist men's group are building a ramp next week for Amelia to get in and out of the rental house we found.

They are overwhelmed with the out pouring of support through your prayers as well as financially.
Dexter asked me again, to let everyone know he is humbled and so grateful for the love that has been shown to them from the shooting community

A special thanks to all the UBR match directors that came together to send the funds from their final matches of the year. You guys are Awesome!!!!!

There have been folks in the shooting community as far as France who have reached out to help
It has been amazing and a blessing for me to see Christ in us
