DEWALT 20 VOLT 5 AMP FANS

Seen several using fans at the last match I was at. I plan to use during my sorting sessions to help cool barrel and keep me and my ammo cooler to.

It's got to be better than not having one in the heat.

Yup, use a fan for all summer range sessions, or even almost summer


Helps a lot. Maybe a little for the barrel but blowing hot air over ammo, maybe not.

I am curious as to why this thread is here. Do y'all use a fan on the line when you are shooting or is this just a random thread about fans?

Benchrest more commonly used... Bbl heat mirage. Quite common. Exceptional price right now. Benchrest comps allow.

I got one of these this weekend after being envious of others at the MO Highpower Regional match. I am privileged to have power at my local club where i can plug in a small fan, but that is not the case at any other range i shoot.

I believe Lowes has done away with their military discount.

I don't think so. They however don't offer a discount on appliances.

I use this one in the winter, at night watching baits for coyote. Both pop-up and permanent blinds. The pop-up usually have one "window" open ,rifle out on tripod. If you run the fan behind portable propane heater towards back of the blind it actually warms the blind instead of raising and exiting the blind. Mine must run 30+ hrs on a charge. Light is handy down by my feet. Running the fan in a permanent blind reduces frost.

I got this little fan off of Amazon to use on the bench when I'm shooting to reduce time between shots. Works great for me as it's small enough to sit under the barrel pointed up at a 45* angle towards the barrel. I try and point it where it will get some air between the barrel and the stock. For $26, it's been solid for me.
