Devcon strips Cerakote!?!?!?

I just did a bedding job last night and was amazed that devcon stripped some of a cerakote off.

It didnt do anything to the underside of the action where i had clear shoe polish on, but some of the spots where it oozed to and i cleaned up with asetone where striped down to stainless steel. I know asetone doesnt do anything to cerakote and it only happened in two small spots that got devcon on them.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

You answered your own question there. Devcon is bonding to pretty much anything it touches that doesn't have the Kiwi or another release agent guarding it.
