Devcon epoxies

I am a new person to projects. Can you tell me "sources" for Devcon epoxies?
And what kind you use for action bedding? Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium or other?
Thank you for your help,
Dick

The last time I ordered any Devcon I got it from McMaster-Carr. I don't have their web address but I'm sure you can Google it. I purchased the one pound container of stainless steel putty for around $55,? its been awhile). I liked using it but lately I've just been using Brownell's steel bed. Mixing ratios are one to one with Brownell's steel bed while the Devcon Stainless Steel putty was 3.75:1 ratio by volume and 11:1 ratio by weight. Both are great products with their own subtle differences while working with them but once cured they are hard to tell apart. Good luck finding some Devcon but if you can't get any don't hesitate to call Brownells for some steel bed.

I truly want to thank you for answering..........I've got a stupid question: Does the steel Devcon have the ability to rust?
Dick

Yes, the steel putty can rust under extreme conditions; however, any normal preventive maintenance will prevent it from rusting. If you shoot in a downpour take the action out and clean it. I don’t take the action out of the stock any more than I have to but wet is wet regardless if I am using steel or titanium. I do like the titanium, but if find no measurable advantage over the far less expensive steel. I have used aluminum as well but I always seem go back to steel or titanium for its superior compression strength, chemical resistance and color.
