Detachable Magazine Assembly

where can i find a Trigger Guard and Detachable Magazine Assembly for a Remington 700 Police,I know H-S Precision has one for $300.00 don't feel like paying that much..

the thing with DMS is that there all expensive and it a really big get what you pay for. I will be going with the badger for my next build but at current there running just about 400. Personally i have heard bad things about the hs's,flimsy mags easy to damage). The badger uses the AICSmags which are 80-90 a peice depending on which size your getting, the bottom metal comes with one mag of whatever size). Dont be afraid to get CDI or Seekins a call either.
Hope this helps

I have a Badger M5, works great. Cant say enough about it. They run generally around $350, sometimes $320ish if you can find a deal on em. They use AICS mags which run about $70.

Seekins and CDI systems are a little bit less, in the lower $200s I believe. CDI I dont know much about. Seekins uses his own design mag.

HS-Prec. bottom metal is hit or miss from what I have seen. Some are nice and others foul up like the old Remmy drop mag sys. And way too much $$ for what you get. Mags are ridiculously expensive.

With the Badger keep in mind you are gonna have to have your stock opened up as the M5 sys is more robust than say the bdl bottom metal.

Go over to Sniper's Hide Forum as they are big on detachable magazines.

From what I have read the HS Precision mag assemblies are not so good as they rattle.

I have the Badger Ordnance detachable magazine system on a McMillan A5 and could not possible want anything better - it works wonderfully and does not rattle. You can get 5 and 10 round magazines for the Badger.
