Show up at 6:00 Am in the pits at the 1000 yard range this Sunday. Follow the road down the side of the berm to the block house behind the number boards. First shot ar 7:00am. Schedule is on desert sharpshooters.com. Everyone will be glad to help. $10.00 fee to shoot. Free to watch bring your rifle.

vmaxpro, Come on out. If you're going to just watch you don't have to be out at 6 AM. Meet us at the 1000 yard line between 7 and 8. Everyone will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Start early and finish early is how we roll this time of year. Normally 40 shots or what ever you want to shoot.

I am driving in from Chandler. I have not "ventured out" since I moved here about 2 weeks ago. I know it is about an hour and 15 minutes away. I put it in my navigation system, so I should not have a problem.. I can't wait to see the range and meet everyone there. As far as HOT is concerned, Houston is no slouch to heat and I have been walking several miles per day from 10:30 a.m. til about noon"ish" here! So I am sort of acclimated to a large degree.

Oh chandlers no prob especially on a sunday youll be there in no time. Just go 10 to 17 and jump off carefree. If you make a right on carefree I live right at tramonto which is walking distance from ben averys

Come in the first entrance and you will pass several ranges. Continue on to a stop sign. Turn left, next stop sign turn right. As soon as you enter the berm hard right on a gravel road. This is the pit road. The paved road you turned off of cuts across the 1000 yard range. Go behind the pit berm block house behind target 50. Don't be bashful just park and walk up.

I surely did! I had a GREAT time! And it did not seem all that hot to me! Not nearly as uncomfortable as Houston!
