Derraco competition shell holder set, Infos/advices.

Hello gentlemen, I'm planning to buy one of this set, very good specs and cost effettive, but on the tecnical infos I ready that the set have incompatibilità with some/all Redding press.

Someone use this set or single shell holder of this brand with Redding press?

Particullarry with The Boss press.

Thanks

Hello @TIMO ,
I also would to buy one set of competition shell holders but on the specs of this set it says they are not compatible with Redding presses.
Mr. Fei Cheng confirmed this to me, who I assume is the manager of Derraco.

Thanks for the info, I have RCBS presses & the K&M priming tools. Definitely something to keep in mind if I do acquire a Redding or Lyman press.

Thanks,
Tim

I got this set of shell holders today and they fit perfectly in my Redding Big Boss 2 press. No problem at all. Very nice set. My Redding competition set is now retired.

Have you ever considered Skip Shims as an alternative? They fit under the lock ring of the die. You can use them with any die and caliber of die.

I've used them for years as a means to make F/L die sizing adjustments without having to change the lock ring on the die. The set consists of the following thicknesses: .010, .008, .007. .006, .005, .004 and .003.

The best part is that they are inexpensive. I purchased mine through Sinclair many years ago, so I am not sure who markets them now.

These are stainless, and higher quality. I have some competition reddings and i like these. They make a comparator that has most all calibers and datum diameters, again impressive quality. Also love their precision priming tool
Ok cool I figured it was Chinese garbage.thx
I'll look into there stuff

Sorry to side line the thread a little.

Could someone tell me if they are well calibrated ? My RCBS set are all over the place , for example the 0.006 bumps the shoulder less than the 0.008 .

Made in Australia and excellent quality. Stainless steel, twice heat treated at 300 C. Perfect fit on my Alpha brass. I can update this as I use them more. Ugly Reloading is their distributor in the US but they can also be had on Amazon. Of the 3 reloading items I have that they make, I am more than happy with the quality and performance.
