If you reload, I would bet that you could get the factory rifle at half the price to shoot 1/2" M.O.A. and maybe 1/4" M.O.A.. With factory ammo - you just don't know, though most rifles come with some type of 1" or less guarantee now. If you do a custom build at twice (or 3x or 4x) the price, you will also likely be able to handload it to those same specs and maybe smaller. There may be no guarantee your new build will like factory ammo and it may not care that you spent so much on it. From purely an accuracy standpoint, it all comes down to whether you want to buy an action that you won't be inclined to send out for accurizing because you cant get your new rig to shoot. Aside from accuracy - and if money is no object - get the nice gun. In time, you will get over the price (some take a long time). Or -if you are married - buy your gal something nice with the difference. You'll probably get a lot more out of it. Hey - free advice is cheap.
