You can always get a single shot follower from PTG. Rem 700 style. might have do do a little trimming to get it to fit. Glue in with JB weld. If you ever want to take it out. Put in freezer overnight and tap it out.

I have Built Four Rifles on 700 SA well Tuned and Win in F/Open Mid and Long Range.
It is not the Arrow ! "it's the Indian".
The Wrong Indian with a $8000 Rifle won't Win a thing ?

2nds on this...got a single shot rebel rblpbe that is decently competitive if I do my part. I dont feel like a different action would improve my shooting. good luck sir. btw, by competitive I mean some 1.1's at 600 and a bunch of 1.3's and 1.5's

I'm glad I bought mine before the buyout. I really like it. At less than $900 they were a great buy but at $1600 I would look at something else.
