Rem 40XB-BR single shot in 243 from 2000. 308 bolt face and Rem Green McMillan fiberglass BR stock
I shot the action with a Brux barrel in 6SLR and Jewell trigger mounted in a Richards Microfit stock.
Switched to Defiance for better tolerances as well as integrated lug and rail. Being a rem clone makes it easy to find stocks and triggers. My Defiance is the Elite single shot with cone bolt, Right Handle Left Port.

Copy that, I have purchased a handful in the last year from Red Hawk Rifles, and there are some in stock right now. I only checked the Tenacity, but the have a SA Mag bolt face, and a LA standard bolt face at this time. They work very very well...client for life...
