Defiance deviant benchrest

Anyone have any experience with defiance deviant rb, lp action for benchrest use? Can anyone compare to a bat dual port for 600 and 1000 yrd benchrest use?

I just received my Defiance Tactical about a month ago chambered in 6br. I've only put 18 rounds down range after proper break in, worst group so far is 1/2" at 200 yards and I just started the load development process, was only screwing around with some Hornady loads. So far I am more than pleased with Defiance and my gunsmiths first build with me. I ordered the action in early Sept 2015, they quoted my 5 months, they took 10 1/2 to deliver. Right now they are quoting 10 months, might be a while before you see the action. But BAT is a long wait as well. Don't know if any of this helps you, good luck.

I have a Deviant on a benchrest gun. It runs smooth and is timed very well. Nice action and good people to deal with.

The deviant doesnt run the more typical tighter tolorances that a true benchrest action would have.
If you want a crossover type action, i would recommend the kelbly atlas. nice tight tolorance with a rem 700 footprint.
I like the defiance deviant but i feel like the bolt and action need some type of coating or treatment. they run a little sticky as they come. i have seen gauling on two of the six actions i have had in my shop over the past year. lee
