Deep South Match/GA State Championships

Attached below is the match program for our fall Deep South/GA State LR Championships match. We are looking forward to shooting this on October 23-25 at Blakely GA.

The course of fire will be 3x1000 matches on Saturday (Iron sights for sling shooters) and 2x1000 matches on Sunday (Any sights for sling).

Please read over the match program as we have made some minor changes because of Covid.

Registration is through the Whidden Gunworks website. We hope to see you there!

Here is the link for your participants to use to reserve a cabin. There are 13 cabins available and a few campsites as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance.

Today we concluded a great match! It was our pleasure to host a very enjoyable group of shooters and watch some excellent shooting.

We saw quick switches to keep everyone challenged. Fortunately we were able to complete Saturday's shooting just before the rain started. Sunday started out a little dark but the air cleared and the quick switches returned.

A huge thanks for their work go to Bill Walter, Dave Coombs, Adam Riddle, and the Arena Training facility staff. The range was in excellent shape and they have a really nice facility.

Congratulations for the match win go to Thomas Colyer in sling, Jose Prieto in F-T/R, and Adam Gruber in F-O. Adam especially held off some tough shooters in a very close race.

The Georgia State Champions are Jack Little in sling, Adam Gruber in F-O, and Chip Harnage in F-T/R. Congratulations to these shooters as well.
