A big thanks to Alex for this opportunity to shoot a world class gun in a 1000 yard bench rest competition, also a big thanks to Glenn, who was in charge of showing me the ropes at the match. from setting up the rest and gun, advice on how to hold and shoot, to working the pits, he stayed with me and helped me not embarrass myself to bad.. There is a lot of anxiety in showing up to an event where you don't know anybody or what to do and he made it a lot easier. Also a thanks out to Tom for the use of his rest, when Glenn and I were on the same relay and we can't forget about that extra ammo he provided, who could have known, it would work so well. It was a pleasure meeting and talking with all the other shooters, they are a great group. I am not sure if it is something I will dive into or not yet as a person can only do so many activities. Again, A big thanks out to all that had a part in making this happen. I had a blast. Jim Haynie

There was no reason for the anxiety now that you did it right? Theres nothing to it Just come out shoot and have a good time. Second best group of the weekend in LG, not bad for your first time at this range!
