Decent scopes with dot reticle

With the exceptions of pasture rat guns, I've been using a Duplex style reticle for deer hunting for over 40 years. It works just fine, but...after about 250,000 or so rounds of bullseye pistol shooting with red dots, I want a dot on my deer rifle.

First choice would be a Leupold followed by a Vortex. I can't see a decent choice for the type of shooting I run into. My preference would be a 3.5-10 Leupold with a dot that would subtend 1" @ 100 yds @ 10x. I have 3 other 3.5-10's and love that scope for deer.

A thought was to have Ackerman install one to my specs, but then I wind up voiding my leo's warranty.

Any other idea's on what I may have missed?

There is vxr in 3-9 with a dot and a 4-12 if youre interested in that. For 3.5 -10 you're looking for bigger $ from leupold. Not sure on the vortex in that magnification range.

Check out Natchez, Weaver makes a Classic Extreme 2.5 x 10 x 50 or 56 with a lighted plex or 4A. I have 3-4 of them and have used them for years on "deer rifles" . Great glass for the $$. New ones are made in the Philipines, older ones were jap glass.

Weaver V16 scopes are pretty decent little hunting scopes, with capped lo-pro 'hunting' turrets. And they come with a dot / fine cross hair reticle:

Just mentioning in some states you are not allowed to hunt deer with illuminated dot or reticle scopes. Know someone who had this discussion with a game warden and lost.
