December 7, 2013- MID-RANGE PRONE/F-CLASS MATCH
The best way to describe conditions was- RAW. The match started with the temperature at 36 and at matches end it had only risen to 37. The chill factor was 32 and the skies were overcast and hazy.
21 hearty souls, with many looking like they came dressed for a deer hunt, showed up to shoot. And despite the conditions, some very good scores were turned in.
Congratulations to our 2 new F-Class High Masters- Jade Delcambre and John Bishop. Way to go guys!
The prone folks were a little light this month with 4 folks taking the line. Those heavy shooting coats came in handy. David Bay took the win with a 587-20. Nice shooting, David.
On the F-Open side, they also were light with 5 shooters. Marc Olivier didn’t let conditions slow him down as he posted a 596-35X for the win. 1st place in the Master/Master Unclassified went to new shooter, Seth Waggoner with a 596-20X.
F-TR continues to have good turnout as there were 12 shooters today. New HM, Jade Delcambre took the overall win with a 592-23X. Alton Britt took 1st High Master with a 590-23X with his newly built rifle with a very cool Tron-like paint job.
In the combined Master/Master Unclassified/Expert/Sharpshooter group, Ronnie Bryant took 1st place with a 578-15X. 2nd place went to Ray Nallie with a 574-19X.
