Sloughhouse Benchrest Shooters held the last CF match of the year today, a 200 YD Chabot Special, attended by 10 shooters including a couple of newbies to us (F-Class shooters) Mike & Julie Brewton. They were joined by Shawn Davison & Tom Hogue who also made the trip down the hill to Range 11. Conditions started mild and never really got out of hand, the usual switchy conditions but not a lot of velocity. Temps were mild starting in the low 40's and getting up to the high 50's by the time we were wrapping things up around noon. We shoot 4 3-bull caliber specific targets with a 5 shot for record on each bull, group & score.
Results:
Target #1 had both Steve Epstein & Greg Wilson coming out of the gate hard with their 30 BR's Steve taking score with a 156,
Greg, Jeff Rodriguez, & Steve Raeder close behind all with 155's. Greg posted a .483 agg taking 1st in group, Roy Luchini 2nd with a .597 agg and Bill Costanza 3rd at .689.
Target #2 was more of the same with Steve posting a 162, edging my 160, Roy 3rd at 156. I got group again with a .461 agg, Mr. Epstein right behind with a .493, Jeff 3rd with a .695.
Target #3 Steve E. again with a 157, outpacing Jeff's 154, and Shawn Davison'n 153. Jeff snuck by me in group with a .530 agg,
(how you like that new crown & Ezell Tuner we did?) my .549 wasn't quite enough, Roy 3rd at .670.
Target #4 Steve for the sweep with a 158, Steve Raeder 2nd at 156, I was 3rd with a 153. Steve Raeder took the last group agg with a nice .493, just edging out Roy 2nd at .494, I was a distant 3rd at .522.
