Dear bullet, will you work?

What would you use for a bullet for deer in a 6x47lapua 8tw. I am looking at the 95gr partition and the 95gr bal tip. What would you use?

The 95 grain BT gets my vote also, my best ever Fallow deer wasn't that pleased with them though ......

Just go with the 95 partition and dont look back. You may have to short track a few, but there will be 2 holes and a dead deer at the end. BT can kill like a lightning bolt and they can come unglued on bone or raking shorts. The partiotion is always a near sure thing.

Am very pleased with the 95 grain Ballistic Tip. My son and I have used it from his 6mm Remington for many years. Very good accuracy and lethal on mule deer. He punched one right through the heart at about 275 yards, on exit it went through the off-side leg bone, shattering the bone. Bullet ended up somewhere in the hillside beyond.

Good Luck! Guy
