The match is in the books. The AMU Highpower team showed up as well as some of the best Palma shooters around. The Head Coach of the US Palma Team, Bob Mead, held a tryout for the US National Team and 9 shooters showed up to qualify and shoot part of the weekend match. Bob also brought along his lovely wife who I must say is the better half. She is a sweetheart.

Oliver Milanovich drove over from Arizona and put on a clinic dropping only 2 points finishing with a score of 1198 with a boatload of Xs. Young guns from the AMU, Luke Rettner, Ben Cleland, and Erin McNeil were not far behind shooting 7SAUMs, and of course, Brandon Green (AMU) finished 4th overall shooting a Palma rifle. The AMU is loaded with young talent and they are all fantastic young people. They had 2 young men shooting service rifles, and they are top shelf. We have enjoyed having them over to train and shoot.

Thanks to all the Palma shooters who showed up from NC, GA, OK, TX and all over to shoot. I was told that they all made the US National Team. Congrats to all of you.

We only had a hand full of F Class shooters, but there were some impressive scores put up with several personal bests shot. Kim Roberts won the day by whipping up on her husband who finished 2nd.

I have attached pics of the final agg for each discipline. We look forward to our next monthly match August 22-23.

Please clarify. The calendar at the Dead Zero web site lists an F-Class/Prone State Championship on Aug 29-30, but no F-Class/Prone event on Aug 22-23.

Are their long range matches both weekends? Or just one of them?

Bronze,
Sorry for the delay. Our monthly match will be Aug 22-23. Our TN F Class State Championship will be September 5-6 in order to stay on Labor Day weekend as is the tradition. I will post both of these separately under Competitions.
