Took me three times to get it right, young and naive the first time, couldn’t have made a worse match. That was 12.5 years of hell on earth. Second one was rebound, short. I was done and then Shannon came along. It’s been what I always thought marriage should be like. We are in Mexico celebrating 18 years together currently, we’ve never even had a cross word, she’s my best friend. She enjoys the outdoors as much as I do, we work, hunt, fish, hike, look for arrowheads, razor, we do everything together. It’s been amazing.

Friday will be 40 years, one of her coworkers asked her the secret, coarse I had to pipe up with the old joke about 50% of the $$ and all of the () she didn't find it as funny as I did , been a great run and hopefully many more. I'm to old to be retrained even though she sez I'm untrainable.
