Dead Frozen Critters

This is a true tragedy , it happens up here a bit in winter but my heart goes out to everyone affected including the animals we love so dearly.
Not sure what to think. Here in WI., seldom have I seen more then a coule of dead birds in my yard and I have 9 bird feeders that attracks many doves and sparrows. Are they used to it ?

After the thaw, we had a massive die-off of Cedar Waxwing birds here. Not directly from the cold, but from eating decaying fermenting holly berries in the area as a result of the cold weather. Alcohol toxicity.
